Rafael Nadal withdraws from the Open Marseille because of exhaustion

The Majorcan tennis player Rafael Nadal came back today to Majorca, "exhausted", according to what he said on his arrival at the airport, after the intense matches he played in Brno con Spain against the Czech Republic and the Milan tournament, for which reason, basically, he will withdraw from the Marseille Open in order to rest for a couple of days.

According to what he said, he has decided to dedicate some days to rest in his home town of Manacor and to not play the French tournament. "Rafael is very tired (in Milan he was beaten in the second round) and with his physical trainer and Carlos Costa we decided that the best thing for him now is to get some rest, so as to be better prepared, and in better conditions, for the tournaments Dubai, Indian Wells, and Miami, " explained his coach and representative, Toni Nadal, to EFE.

"We haven't had the time to tell anyone about our arrival". The young talent of Spanish tennis, with 17 years of age, has avoided a massive welcoming in Palma airport, as he never gave an estimation for his arrival.
