"I didn't think this site would be popular so fast!" Susan Seemiller, the founder of vamosrafael.com, dedicated to young Spanish tennis hope Rafael Nadal, is still amazed.
Created in June 2003 by this law specialist (also, a writer for tennisnews.com), the site has been rewarded recently in German Tennis Magazine.
Apart from the normal photo and stats sections, vamosrafael.com offers videos, press conferences, what other athletes say about Rafael, all in a friendly design and efficiently engineered.
Quite a feat, for it is not an official site.
"We are not in contact with Rafael, even though his managers know about us. I don't know whether he visits the site. We get information from the community of fans who send us articles, pictures, videos," explains the webmaster.
A regular ants' work. With an average of 650 pages seen per day, the site is still in its growing years. "But Rafael is not yet one of the best players," says the webmaster, "We should not exaggerate his site at this point!"

Fondatrice de vamosrafael.com dedie au jeune espoir espagnol Rafael Nadal, Susan Seemiller n'en revient toujours pas. Cree en juin 2003 par cette specialiste en droit (egalement redactrice pour tennisnews.com), le site a ete recompense recemment. En dehors des sections habituelles de photos et de statistiques, vamosrafael.com propose des videos, des revues de presse, des citations d'autres sportifs sur Nadal, le tout dans un design sympathique et une ergonomie efficace. Une prouesse puisqu'il n'est pas offciel:
Nous n'avons pas de contact avec Rafale meme si ses managers sont au courant. Je ne sais pas s'il regarde le site. Nous l'alimentons grace a la communaute de fans qui nous envoie articles, photos, videos...?, precise la webmaster. Un vrai travaile de fourmi. Avec moyenne 650 pages vues par jour, le site est encore en croissance: Mais Rafael n'est pas encore un des meilleurs joueurs. Il ne faudrait pas exagerer!
