Rafael Nadal will play in the final of the Idea Prokom Open. The Spaniard defeated his experienced countryman Felix Mantilla 7:5 6:1 in the semifinal.

The first set was real clash of two tennis generations. When Nadal led 5:4, Mantilla defended two set points and evened it out at 5:5. It seemed at that moment that he would take the set, but the exact opposite happened. Nadal won the next two games, ending it in his favour.

In the second set the older Spaniard seemed to lose stamina. It was quickly 3:0 for Nadal. Mantilla managed to win a game at that point. He tried to slow the game down, use more topspin but Nadal would have none of it, hitting forehand and backhand winners. There was just no way for Mantilla to beat his younger opponent today.
